EV TrustSeal Guide

How EV TrustSeal Works

EV TrustSeal gives EV sellers a clear way to show buyers a telemetry-backed battery health report before a sale.

What EV TrustSeal Does
  • EV TrustSeal helps EV sellers create a battery health report buyers can verify online.
  • The report is based on connected-vehicle telemetry after the seller gives permission.
  • Each report gets a QR code and public verification page that can be shared with buyers.
Connecting Your EV
  • Sign in, open the dashboard, and choose Connect EV.
  • You will be sent through Enode to securely connect your vehicle account.
  • EV TrustSeal requests read-only vehicle data for report creation.
Battery Health Audit
  • Start a charge audit before charging your EV.
  • Charge from a low state of charge to a meaningfully higher state of charge.
  • A larger charge swing improves report reliability.
  • When charging is stopped or complete, EV TrustSeal can generate an audit-backed report.
Reports and QR Codes
  • A report shows the vehicle details, telemetry snapshot, audit result, and report status.
  • The QR code opens the public verification page.
  • The report can also be downloaded as a PDF.
  • Draft reports are for review; published reports are intended to be shared with buyers.
Payment
  • Payment is required to publish a report.
  • After payment, the report is marked as published.
  • Refunded payments may revoke the associated report.
What Data Appears in a Report

Vehicle make, model, year, VIN, and odometer when available.

State of charge and charging state.

Reported battery capacity when available from the connected vehicle provider.

Charge audit start and end values used to estimate battery health.

Important Limitations

EV TrustSeal reports are based on connected-vehicle telemetry and charge audit data. They are not a replacement for a mechanical inspection, workshop battery diagnostic, title check, or roadworthiness inspection.
